Disappearing Marks - Avocets a piece which describes an abstract pattern of a flock of Pied Avocets Listed as Least Concerned but decreasing on the IUCN Red List criterion (Europe)

The species is threatened in Europe by the pollution of wetlands.

The piece was made by painting single use plastics with acrylic, peeling it off to reveal the characteristics of plastic moulds that we are now so familiar with and re-assembling it with reducing cut out shapes onto a black background.
